About Omar Bradai

Native of Algeria, Omar found his lifelong passion for the sea amidst the picturesque backdrop of the Mediterranean coast. Born and raised in this coastal haven, his connection to the ocean runs deep, sparked by countless childhood adventures spent fishing and spearfishing alongside his family in their seafront home.

Upon relocating to France and later Spain, Omar’s affinity for the sea only grew stronger. It was in 2003, during a transformative trip to Thailand’s Koh Tao, that he discovered scuba diving. As he descended into the vibrant depths, a whole new world unfolded before him, captivating his senses and igniting a desire to share the ocean’s wonders with others.

It was during that same excursion that Omar had his first encounter with underwater photography. The ability to capture and immortalize the mesmerizing sights beneath the waves was a revelation. Eager to share his underwater experiences, he purchased his first camera and began his lifelong path as an underwater photographer.

Since then, Omar has dedicated himself to exploring the magical realm beneath the surface. From the azure waters of the Mediterranean to the exotic reefs of Southeast Asia and the dramatic walls of the Red Sea, each photograph offers a glimpse into the awe-inspiring diversity of marine life.
