For over two decades I have immersed myself in open water — waiting for light, studying benthic behavior, and cultivating the quiet patience the ocean demands.

From the delicate geometry of nudibranchs to deep gorgonian gardens and pelagic encounters, every image is captured with deep respect for marine life and minimal disruption to the reef.

About Omar

Winner of 2 Gold Medals at the International Photo Contest in Algeria 2024. Algerian-born and shaped by the Mediterranean coast, Omar’s underwater journey began in 2003 in Koh Tao, Thailand. Today he documents the deep blue from his base in Spain.
